No stranger to the government contracting landscape, over 20 years of experience in companies performing IT Services and Munitions Response along with Infrastructure Construction and Affordable Housing Development and Management.
Cynthia’s level of hard work and dedication is demonstrated by her climb from Accounts Payable and Procurement basics to CFO which, along with her Finance duties, included holding positions related to Human Resources, Safety, Work Comp, Risk Management, IT Services, and 8(a) government housing. By taking assignments that allowed her to experience many different financial aspects of government contracting and private industry, she fostered a varied and unique perspective.
Every position was both a building block and a stepping stone. Her first assignment as a Procurement Assistant taught her to develop and send out RFI and RFP documents. She then learned to issue contracts and process accounts payable and payroll. She has worked for large and small industries, receiving insights into the financial base of each by serving as Bank Reconciliation Specialist, a Sales & Inventory Accountant, and a Fixed Asset Accountant for a Fortune 500 company as well as the Senior Accountant for a company specializing in M&A activity. Learning this industry one piece at a time has led to a great understanding of the entire system.
She has previously been a participant in the Unanet conference, speaking at the last four Champions conferences, and is on the Federal Publication Seminars Board of Advisors.
She has served in multiple companies from startups to long running organizations helping promote the growth and profitability of both organizations by ensuring the sturdiness of company budgets and rate structures. She led both organizations through their legacy system software ERP conversion and contributed to several organizations, including International Truck & Engine, PAI Corporation, and Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure.
Cynthia graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s in Business Administration from South College and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has earned Certified Government Contract Accountant accreditation as well as the Certified Professional Bookkeeper accreditation and holds several Unanet ERP system certifications.
Jeff Boyatt to lead as Chief Operating Officer
Spotted Cat Consulting LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Boyatt as the new Chief Operating Officer and with this addition there will additional lines of service that we are happy to announce as well.
Jeff has over 40 years in Construction, Mining, and Manufacturing experience in the areas of Safety, Environmental, Health, Security, Human Resources, Workers Compensation Claims Management, Maintenance Predictive and Preventative programs as well as ISO 9001, 14001 TS 16949 development, implementation, lead auditing and overall management of ISO programs.
Jeff has a degree in Environmental Health Sciences with a Waste Management emphasis. Jeff has spent most of his career developing Safety and Environmental programs and cultures that are based on (zero) “0” incidents, (zero) “0” violations, and audit ready – a philosophy that has been developed over years of practice proving injuries are preventable, inspections and audits were made to be passed and everyone goes home at the end of the day.
Jeff has been trained in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement Planning. During Jeff’s carer he has managed Maintenance, Production, Quality, Human Resource Departments along with leading many capital projects.
